I indicate I wish to purr

Somehow this moment seems
Unexpected, but welcome
Our connection has grown stronger, sturdier
Than I currently can fathom
We're oh so hit and miss
But I'm enjoying it when storms fade to bliss
And I can't tolerate much more of this
Posing as immune to your heartfelt kiss
So many things I hold dear about you
And I can't help but notice
How much beauty you see
When you put all else aside and
Look at me
We smile, catch each others' beams
I remember other fragments
Of my dreams...
The ones that are nourished with and by you
And hope some day I'll be able to
Love the extent to which I love
